I’m 72 and have had two back surgeries, multiple knee injuries, and recurring rotator cuff issues. Over the years, I tried chiropractic care, physical therapy, and acupuncture. I’m so glad I tried Myofascial Release (MFR) after hearing about it a few times before. Looking for alternative ways to approach pain from psoriatic arthritis, MFR was in line with where I was going with my treatment plan. MFR has been completely different from other body work. It’s hard to describe unless you experience it, but there’s this sense of deep unwinding, like my body is finally letting go of years of tension I didn’t even realize I was holding. Movements that used to feel stiff or limited—like reaching, twisting, or even just walking—have started to feel more fluid and effortless. It’s not just physical, either.
