It's best to wear comfortable, flexible clothing that allows access to the skin while maintaining modesty and ease of movement. Since MFR is performed directly on the skin without oils or creams, ideal clothing options for all sizes and genders include:
A sports bra and shorts
Two-piece swimsuit
Loose-fitting workout attire
Gym shorts /Running shorts
Loose-fitting athletic wear
Avoid thick or restrictive fabrics like jeans or compression wear, as they can limit access to the fascia and interfere with treatment. The goal is to ensure both comfort and effective hands-on work during your session!
Private changing room, table warmers and blankets all available in the treatment room for you.

It’s the most common question new clients ask - and it makes sense. We’re used to treatments that come with a timeline or a fix-it plan.
Many clients begin to feel relief after their first session. That said, meaningful and lasting change - especially for chronic or long-standing issues - takes time. Most people notice clear progress toward their goals by the sixth session, particularly when sessions are spaced closely together.
Your results depend on a few key factors:
The duration and depth of your restrictions
The frequency of your sessions (more consistent = faster progress)
Your engagement with self-treatment and body awareness between visits
This Work Isn’t About Forcing Change - It’s About Inviting It
Myofascial Release is not a quick fix. It’s a different kind of healing - one that invites you into a new relationship with your body. A relationship grounded in listening.
Instead of asking “When will this be fixed?”
We invite you to explore:
“What’s becoming possible as I listen more deeply to my body?”Fascia doesn’t respond to pressure or deadlines.
It responds to presence, to safety, to trust. You’re Not a Machine in Need of Repair
You are a living, sensing, adaptive human being. Your fascial system holds not just your tension - but your history, your resilience, and your potential for freedom.
As your body begins to release and reorganize, you’ll feel less discomfort, more ease, and a growing sense of possibility. From there, we can begin to space out your sessions while supporting your continued progress.
-
Every MFR session is unique, because your body leads the way. You may feel a gentle stretching, warmth, or a softening sensation as the fascia begins to release. Some people describe it as a feeling of melting, unwinding, or “waves” moving through the body.
Often, areas that seemed quiet at first may begin to speak - bringing awareness to sensations or emotions stored just beneath the surface. This is completely natural. Myofascial Release works on many levels: physical, emotional, and energetic.
You’ll remain comfortably clothed, and the work is performed slowly, without oil or lotion. There’s no cracking or forcing - just sustained, respectful pressure that allows your body to open at its own pace.
You might feel deeply relaxed. You might feel surprised. You might even feel nothing at all right away - and that’s okay too. Shifts can be subtle at first, but they tend to build with time and presence.
Above all, you’ll be listened to - by me and by your body.
After your treatment, most people experience relief and an increase in their range of motion, feeling a renewed sense of ease and well-being.
At times, you might go through a phase of temporary increased soreness - a healing crisis. This period marks your body’s transition from old, restrictive patterns to new, balanced ones. It’s a natural part of the healing process, signaling positive change. During this time, lean into self-treatment, stay hydrated, rest well, and enjoy a warm bath if it feels soothing. And remember, we’re always here if you have any questions or need support along the way.
